Do I need to bring my own bike?
No — we offer rental bikes for all levels and sizes, including full-suspension MTB, e-bikes and kids’ bikes. Let us know when booking and we’ll sort the right setup for you.
What level do I need to be?
We have experiences for every level — from complete beginners to advanced enduro riders. Just tell us your experience when you get in touch and we’ll match you to the right ride.
Are kids welcome?
Yes. We offer family-friendly tours and kids’ bike rental. Get in touch and we’ll build the right experience for your family.
What languages do you guide in?
We guide in English, Italian and German.
How do I book?
Simply send us a WhatsApp or email. We’ll confirm availability and get everything sorted for you.
What is a single uplift?
A single uplift is a van ride provided by our authorized local transport partner, from sea level up to around 1,000m — so you can focus entirely on the descent. You can arrange as many or as few as you like during your private ride day; each run is invoiced directly by the transport partner, at 13.50€ per person.
Can you help with transfer from the airport or train station?
Yes — we work with a trusted local transport service and can organise your transfer directly. Just let us know your arrival details when you book.
Is Rose di Pietra only for Flow Finale guests?
Rose di Pietra is open to all guests — but if you’re riding with us, staying there is the perfect way to complete the experience.
Do you ride all year?
Yes — Finale Ligure is one of the few destinations in Europe where you can ride 12 months a year. Some seasons are better than others, so get in touch and we’ll advise on the best timing for your trip.
Can you organise events, brand activations or media productions?
Absolutely — it’s one of our specialities. From athlete camps to product launches, media shoots and private celebrations, we have the team, the territory and the infrastructure to make it happen. Get in touch and let’s talk about your project.
How many trails are there in the Finale Outdoor Region?
The Finale Outdoor Region has over 300 trails covering a huge variety of terrain — from wide, flowing singletracks perfect for beginners to highly technical enduro lines that have hosted World Championship races. There is genuinely something for every level, every style and every mood.
Is Finale Ligure suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Despite its reputation as one of the world’s top enduro destinations, Finale has a huge amount to offer riders who are just starting out. Our guides are experienced in working with beginners and will choose trails that are fun, manageable and confidence-building — with no pressure and no unnecessary risk. The MTB Discovery Ride is specifically designed for first-timers and easy riders looking to enjoy the trails without the technical challenge.
What is the best time of year to visit Finale Ligure?
Finale is rideable all year round, which is one of the reasons it’s so popular. Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer the best trail conditions — mild temperatures, firm ground and fewer crowds. Summer can be warm but the trails at higher altitude stay cool. Winter is quieter and surprisingly rideable on most days. Get in touch and we’ll help you plan the best timing for your trip.
Do I need to be fit to ride with you?
Your guide will give you a full briefing before the ride, but as a general guide: a full-face or trail helmet (mandatory), gloves, knee pads, comfortable riding clothes, a hydration pack or water bottle, and a small snack. Lunch is not included in most experiences but your guide can organise a stop at a local osteria or special trail-side spot if you’d like.
What should I bring on a ride day?
It depends on the experience you choose. Our shuttle-supported rides require no pedalling at all — the van does the climbing for you. If you opt for a pedalled tour, a reasonable base fitness helps, but our guides always adapt the pace to the group. Just tell us your level honestly and we’ll build the right day around it.
Is Rose di Pietra only for mountain bikers?
Not at all. While Rose di Pietra has a strong connection to riding culture, it’s a beautiful agriturismo open to anyone who appreciates nature, authentic local food and a quiet retreat in the Ligurian hills. Cyclists will feel at home, but so will anyone looking for an honest, genuine experience away from the ordinary.
Does Rose di Pietra include meals?
Breakfast is available at Rose di Pietra. Dinner can also be arranged on request — prepared with organic produce from the farm and local ingredients. It’s one of the best parts of the stay.
Are pets welcome at Rose di Pietra?
Yes — well-behaved pets are welcome at Rose di Pietra. Please let us know when you book so we can arrange everything accordingly.
How far is Rose di Pietra from the trails?
Rose di Pietra sits directly at the base of Monte Grosso — one of the main riding areas in the Pietra Ligure zone. Some trails start literally from the property. Shuttle pickups also depart from the agriturismo, so your ride day begins the moment you step outside.
How far is Rose di Pietra from the sea?
Rose di Pietra is just a 10-minute walk from the beach. After a full day on the trails, you can be at the Mediterranean in minutes — which is one of the things that makes this place genuinely unique. Riding in the mountains in the morning, feet in the sea in the afternoon.
How do we get around from Rose di Pietra?
For your riding days, our shuttle departs directly from Rose di Pietra — no need to drive yourself anywhere. For evenings, the town of Pietra Ligure is within easy walking distance with restaurants, bars and the seafront. For longer distances or airport transfers, we work with a trusted local transport service and can organise everything for you in advance.
Where do the tours start?
All tours start at our office inside the Finale Outdoor Base at 8:30 AM. If you are staying at Rose di Pietra, the Flow Finale shuttle — included in Signature Rides — picks you up directly from the agriturismo, no need to find your own way there.
For Private Experiences, pickup can be arranged through our local transport partner.
How many different days of riding can we do at Finale without repeating the same trails?
More than two weeks — without ever riding the same trail twice. With over 300 trails spread across multiple distinct riding zones, Finale Ligure offers an almost inexhaustible variety of terrain. Every day can be completely different in terms of style, difficulty and scenery. Many riders come back year after year and still discover new trails each time.
Are your guides professionally certified?
Yes — all Flow Finale guides hold official certifications and regularly update their qualifications. Beyond the standard certifications, our entire team undergoes internal training programmes that cover first aid, emergency response and group psychology — because managing a group on technical terrain requires a lot more than just knowing the trails. Your safety and experience are in experienced, prepared hands.
